Onsite – Buffalo, NY
Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group relies on skilled machinists to produce critical components for flight‑control systems used on the world’s leading commercial airliners and business jets. As a Mill Machinist II you will manufacture complex, high‑precision components where quality, reliability, and performance are non‑negotiable.
Responsibilities- Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills and tracer‑type milling machines.
- Set up and operate a vertical mill, making all set‑ups with specified equipment.
- Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques.
- Interpret drawings, work without operation sheets when necessary, and create difficult layouts.
- Work with minimum guidance and inspect all work performed to detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using various inspection equipment and processes.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
- Basic math skills (simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- At least 3 years of experience as a precision machinist in a machine shop setting.
- Enrollment and participation in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program (required for safety‑sensitive work).
Hourly Salary Range: $28.00–$32.00 (Buffalo, NY). The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog’s salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on location, experience, and performance.

This position is eligible for a $3,500 sign‑on bonus. To qualify, candidates must submit their application between July
