Work Schedule:
Onsite – Buffalo, NY
As a machinist within our Military Aircraft Group, you will machine some of the most challenging parts used in major production programs such as F‑35, MQ‑25, and FLRAA. In this role, you will manufacture complex, high‑precision components used in flight‑critical systems where quality, reliability, and performance are non‑negotiable. This position is eligible for a $3,500 sign‑on bonus. Application period:
July 20, 2026 – September 11, 2026 (subject to terms of the bonus agreement).
- Perform set‑ups for production and prototype parts.
- Specify size and configuration of electrodes and determine sequence of EDM operations in the absence of operation sheets.
- Verify all set‑ups to meet operation sheet and engineering drawing requirements.
- Utilize various inspection equipment to work to very close tolerances.
- Train and monitor the work of EDM operators.
- Effectively utilize all EDM machines in the area while transferring operators from machine to machine for new set‑ups or adjustments.
- Operate the Surface Grinder to regrind electrodes.
- Establish EDM machine parameters for proper machining rates.
- Detect unusual conditions such as uneven electrode wear or defective material and report findings to supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED preferred, otherwise demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- At least 3 years as a diversified machinist.
- Compliance with FAA regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (SSW); enrollment and participation in the company’s "FAA Drug & Alcohol Program" is required.

Hourly salary range (Buffalo, NY): $28.00–$32.00. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
