Location/Division Specific Information:
The position is based out of our Grand Island N.Y. site within the Bio Production Group.
The candidate will be responsible for the production and facilities equipment at the Grand Island Facility. The Facility is a class 2 medical device manufacturer of liquids and dry powder media in cleanroom environments.
A Day in the Life:
The candidate will be responsible for the day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment as well as facilities equipment. Preventive maintenance of all equipment and calibrations of critical equipment is essential to keeping the team in compliance with work instructions and standard operating procedures and equipment operating efficiently. The role will be responsible for providing support to the production floor through set up and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
Engineering project support is also required with the installation of new process equipment and process improvements as well as validation of new equipment and processes.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade & Technical school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree is preferred.
ExperienceRequired:
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a production, manufacturing environment, preferably in a cGMP facility.
Preventive Maintenance experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system.
Experience with Automated Manufacturing Equipment and the ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment to a component level preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesPractical knowledge of cGMPs and working in an SOP environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of electro-mechanical theory and best practices for repair and maintenance of related production equipment.
Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers.
Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAbility to aseptically gown and work in a cleanroom environment.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $18.56–$27.97. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
