Press Operator Job New York New York USA,Manufacturing / Production

We are looking to hire a Press Operator for an individual with or without experience. We turn coils of thin to medium gauge metals into precise intricate stamped components for the electronics, military, medical, aerospace, automotive industries. If you are interested in how things are made, this job might be right for you. You will be exposed to a variety of different manufacturing and assembly processes and will receive on the job training.

The

individual will:

operate press machines equipped with progressive, compound, or single station dies
place material on feed for production
visually check stamped parts for distortions
lubricate material and machine as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience. High School, GED, or technical education
