CNC Machinist

Location: Orchard Park

Our client, a top distributor of high-performance engineered plastic shapes, is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team. In this position, you'll contribute to essential manufacturing operations as part of a committed and highly skilled group. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an effective problem-solver, and a collaborative team player who aligns with the company's core values

** Pay Range:**  $20 - $29 per hour

** 2nd shift:
** Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am

** OR*
* ** Weekend

Shift:
** Friday - Sunday, 6am-6pm.

** What's the Job?*
* + Set up, program, and operate CNC machinery.

+ Interpret detailed drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets.

+ Monitor machine operations and identify any malfunctions.

+ Perform inspections and gauging to ensure all components meet quality standards.

** What's Needed?*
* +  
** Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Ability to perform diversified operations on CNC machines to close and interrelated tolerances.

+ Experience in reviewing setup sheets and specifications to determine sequence and dimensions of finished work pieces.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
