** Production Operator I - Padding Department*
* ** Join Our Team!*
* We are seeking a dependable Production Operator I to support our Padding Department manufacturing operations. This hands-on position is responsible for operating and monitoring padding production equipment, packaging finished products, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Operate and monitor padding production equipment according to established work instructions.

+ Assist with machine setup, product changeovers, and startup activities.

+ Package, bag, box, label, and palletize finished products to customer specifications.

+ Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Accurately complete production records, quality documentation, and downtime logs.

+ Operate scrap grinding equipment and support recycling and waste reduction efforts.

+ Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S and housekeeping standards.

+ Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and food safety requirements.

+ Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and quality observations to supervisors and team members.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

** Starting Pay*
* + Padding Department:  **$20.00 per hour*
* ** Shift Differential*
* +  **+$1.00 per hour
** for hours worked between  
** 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.*
* + No shift differential for hours worked between  
** 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.*

Shift:
** 12:00 a.m.

- 8:00 a.m.

Employees must be clocked in and ready for the daily shift meeting  
** 15 minutes prior
** to their scheduled shift start time.

** Break Policy*
* All employees receive:

+ Two paid 15-minute breaks

+ One paid 30-minute lunch break

** Qualifications*
* + Successful completion of required Production Operator assessments or equivalent manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

+ Basic math and measurement skills.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

+ Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying noise levels.

+ Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety and quality.
