Essential Position Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare the manufacturing documentation (AutoCAD drawings, specifications, methods, work order attachments, BOM's, technical reports, etc.) required for all new products and input into the PEP ERP system, with the focus on products that have known applications and manufacturing methods but may require validation.
Design, develop, and validate manufacturing tools (compression molds, extrusion dies, templates, fixtures, jigs, etc.) and associate AutoCAD drawings or machining files. Safe use of EDM, CNC, Lathe, Vertical Mill, and hand tools expected.
Trouble shoot and resolve manufacturing issues along with generating or correcting any manufacturing documentation using the ECR system. Assist in the implementation and transfer of new technologies and processes to production.
Required EducationBachelor of Science in an engineering-related field or equivalent in education/experience
Experience & Qualifications1+ years relevant Engineering work experience.
Ability to read and interpret prints
Working knowledge of Auto CAD/Inventor Skills or similar
Knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes preferred
Knowledge of Rubber and Silicone products and processes preferred
LEAN / Six Sigma a Plus
PPE RequirementsSafety Glasses to be worn at all times when on the production floor
Safety Shoes to be worn at all times when on the production floor
Must wear appropriate PPE for all work activities performed; varies based work

Salary Info$65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience
