Finishing Associate
At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we're seeking Finishing Associates to join a premier optics manufacturing company in West Henrietta, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a permanent employee based on performance and business needs.
Available
Shifts:
- A Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
- B Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $19.00-$21.00/hour (Based on experience)
Shift differential available for B Shift
What You'll Do:
- Perform finishing operations on precision optical filters and components
- Clean, inspect, and prepare products throughout the finishing process
- Operate production equipment following established work instructions
- Perform tasks such as edge blackening, UV printing, laser marking, and product identification
- Process and package finished products for shipment
- Identify and report quality concerns
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to distinguish colors and visually inspect small components
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn
