Processing Operator

Pay: $21.40/hour

Schedule:

• A Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• B Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule
• Average 42 hours per week

Position Overview:

Seeking processing operators to support food production and freeze-drying operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are manufactured safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor food processing and production equipment
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Follow all food safety, GMP, quality, and safety standards
• Complete production documentation and quality checks
• Report equipment issues, production concerns, and safety hazards
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards
• Move between departments as needed based on production demands
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a 12-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in both extreme cold and hot environments throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around food products and food allergens
• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Basic computer and documentation skills

• Fast-paced production setting
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift
• May be required to move between departments and production areas as needed
