## WOODWORKER / FABRICATORBrownstone Door CoPosted about 18 hours agoSave this Listing---Full Time New York City Sunset Park, Brooklyn $30-$35/hrA specialty architectural millwork shop in Brooklyn is looking for a mechanically inclined woodworker/fabricator to join our small workshop team with 2-5 years of relevant woodworking experience.
We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail and who is just the right kind of fussy about the quality of their work.
This isn’t a trainee role! We are looking for someone already competent and skilled in the woodworking craft.

• Have hands-on woodworking, fabrication, or other relevant technical experience
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning
• Be comfortable working with woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Read and work accurately from technical shop drawings
• Follow established fabrication processes consistently
• Pay close attention when learning new processes and retain and apply what you have been taught
• Work safely, efficiently, and with focus
• Communicate clearly and work well within a small team
WHAT WE OFFER:
4-day workweek, Mon–Thu, 8am-6pm (After a Part-Time,12pm-6pm, M-Th, 30 day paid trial period)
Pay: $30 - $35/hr pay rate is based on your production capabilities relevant to our work and the training investment required for you to be able to produce on your own.
Benefits:
Paid time off and holidays, 401k with company match after 3 months of employment.
