WOODWORKER ​/ FABRICATOR

A specialty architectural millwork shop in Brooklyn is looking for a mechanically inclined woodworker/fabricator to join our small workshop team with 2-5 years of relevant woodworking experience. We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail and who is just the right kind of fussy about the quality of their work.

• Work on high-quality, custom architectural projects throughout New York City

• Have hands-on woodworking, fabrication, or other relevant technical experience
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning
• Be comfortable working with woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Read and work accurately from technical shop drawings
• Follow established fabrication processes consistently
• Pay close attention when learning new processes and retain and apply what you have been taught
• Work safely, efficiently, and with focus
• Communicate clearly and work well within a small team

• 4-day workweek, Mon–Thu, 8am-6pm (After a Part-Time,12pm-6pm, M-Th, 30 day paid trial period)
• Pay: $30 - $35/hr pay rate is based on your production capabilities relevant to our work and the training investment required for you to be able to produce on your own.
