The Tube Laser Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely operating tube laser cutting machinery to fabricate metal components according to detailed specifications. The operator will interpret technical drawings and programming instructions to set up and adjust the laser equipment for optimal performance.

Additionally, the role involves routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the machinery to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. Ultimately, the Tube Laser Operator contributes to the overall success of the production team by delivering high-quality, precision-cut metal tubes that support various industrial applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating tube laser cutting machinery or similar CNC equipment.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and quality inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in CNC machine operation or laser cutting technology.
• Experience with programming tube laser machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and materials.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate tube laser cutting machines based on job orders and technical drawings.
• Load and unload metal tubes, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement for cutting.
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, measuring dimensions and verifying adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to optimize cutting processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or delays promptly.
