Press Brake Operator​/Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are hiring an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator/Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our precision metal fabrication team. This role requires 3-5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC press brakes to manufacture high precision metal parts. This role is an opportunity for a driven machinist with a focus on setting up and operating common fabrication shop equipment such as CNC press brake, drill press, PEMserter, band saw, shear, etc.

• Set up job according to specifications of work order, engineering drawings and related documentation. Follows directions and produces required quantity of parts.
• Works on different types of equipment to carry out a particular phase of the production cycle.
• Must produce parts within required tolerances.
• Follows work order instructions, blueprint reading and geometric tolerances.
• Mechanical assembly.

• Is responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition.
• Proper and safe use of material handling equipment such as cranes, carts, etc.
• Follows all company safety rules, including machine operation and guarding.

• Maintains simple reports on work orders handled, quantities produced and quality reports.
• Ability to follow work order instructions, blueprint reading and geometric tolerances.
• Performs miscellaneous duties and participates in training as assigned by a supervisor.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor

$22 - $30 per hour - commensurate with experience and specialty.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or a related role preferred.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with GD&T and metrology equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (auditing experience a plus).
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, quality systems).
• A keen eye for detail, solid communication skills, and a team-player mindset.
• Good time management and a positive attitude.
