Fabricator- Riveting

Job Title

Responsible for riveting brake lining onto brake shoes.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.35 (+$0.90 for 2nd shift, + $1.00 for 3rd shift)

• Verifies correct parts
• Loads shoe into riveter
• Gauges a riveted shoe
• Verifies part quality
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED

• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to work well with others

• Must be able to stand continuously for 8-12 hrs
• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs occasionally depending on customer orders
• Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
• Use foot pedal
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills

• Ear and eye protection required at all times in production areas
• Exposure to a noisy work environment
• Exposure to hot and humid conditions
• Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
• Exposure to brake pad dust
• Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all times
