About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and accomplished Senior Production Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning, and execution across all product categories.

This role is responsible for managing the manufacturing calendar, raw material planning and purchasing, and factory coordination to ensure on-time delivery aligned with quality, sustainability, and margin expectations. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong ability to anticipate liabilities, problem solve, manage complexity, and drive execution of apparel and accessory production across multiple seasons at once.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the production calendar from raw material ordering through final delivery to logistic, retail, and wholesale teams.
  • Lead seasonal production planning in alignment with design, development, and sales timelines and priorities.
  • Forecast, plan, and place raw material orders (fabrics, trims, yarns, and components) to support production.
  • Track and manage raw material liabilities, minimums, and inventory usage across seasons.
  • Partner with Design & Development to ensure timely handoff of production approvals.
  • Manage communication and foster positive brand relationships with domestic and international factories.
  • Monitor production status across all styles and proactively address delays or risks.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for both raw materials and finished goods.
  • Partner with Operations/Finance on costing, margin tracking, and payment schedules.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of bulk production while maintaining luxury quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years experience in production within a luxury or contemporary fashion brand
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong experience in production planning and raw material purchasing
  • Proven ability to manage factory partnerships and timelines
  • Deep understanding of production calendars, as well as garment quality and construction.
  • Experience managing multiple categories (RTW, accessories; knitwear preferred)
  • Strong proficiency Adobe Creative Cloud suite; familiarity with tech packs, BOMs, and Zedonk or other production softwares.

  • Must be based in NYC and available to work full-time on site, with ability to go to local factories as necessary.
