Lead Compo under (1st shift) - Union Position
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour; 5x8 schedule.
Scope of the Role / Responsibilities:- Compound batches from a copy of the master formula and direct operators/compounders.
- Weigh raw materials; monitor batch procedures; set up equipment for manufacturing.
- Operate kettles and pumps; move materials to and from the compounding/suppository area.
- Monitor batches as processed; ensure batches are properly manufactured.
- Sign batch records and complete log entries; make required SOP sign-offs.
- Follow written instructions and all SOPs for MFG/Compounding.
- Clean equipment/containers/area as needed; follow appropriate cleaning procedures.
- Cooperate with QA inspectors.
- Maintain operating schedule and professional work relationships.
- Follow all safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
- Ensure water requirements are obtained as needed.
- Review activity of compounders/set-up operators to ensure work is completed.
- One year of compounding experience preferred.
- Read English; sign batch records and log entries after each step.
- Ability to lift materials/equipment weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Ability to wear full/half face respirator.
