YJM Apparel Group Inc. is a New York-based apparel company operating across Mens divisions, managing production and distribution relationships with factory partners and major retail accounts. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our production team in managing orders from placement through delivery.

The Production Coordinator will support the day-to-day execution of production activities, working closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams to track orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth communication between factories, logistics, and internal stakeholders. This is a detail-driven, execution-focused role ideal for someone looking to grow their career in apparel production management.

• Enter, update, and track purchase orders through all stages of production
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production status reports and WIP trackers
• Monitor order timelines and flag potential delays to the Production Manager
• Assist in maintaining production calendars across multiple factory partners
• Communicate with overseas factories to confirm order details, timelines, and shipping schedules
• Follow up on outstanding production updates, sample approvals, and documentation
• Support resolution of day-to-day production issues under guidance from the Production Manager

• Assist in coordinating quality control checkpoints and inspections
• Maintain organized records of POs, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents
• Help track and document quality issues or discrepancies for review

• Coordinate with logistics team on shipment bookings, container tracking, and delivery timelines
• Assist in reconciling shipping and production data against purchase orders and invoices
• Help identify and elevate past-due or at-risk shipments

• Support sales, merchandising, and logistics teams with production status updates
• Assist in preparing weekly/monthly production and shipping reports
• Provide general administrative and data support to the production team

• 2–4 years of experience in production, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in apparel or fashion
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• Prior experience working with overseas factories or import/export processes a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
• Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems (e.g., Quick Books, WMS platforms) a plus
• Basic understanding of costing terms such as FOB, LDP, and DDP a plus

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, dependable, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior production staff
