Scope of Role- Provide supervision to all functions of the manufacturing process, including Materials, Equipment, and Facility Maintenance activities for the LSO Systems Value streams.
- Ensure compliance with company and employee standards while leading by example.
- Interface with production planning to establish attainable schedules and deliver as expected.
- Set priorities and work cross‑functionally to resolve production issues, escalating when appropriate.
- Lead daily manufacturing meetings and develop clear communication tools.
- Lead daily management meetings to update Safety, Quality, and Delivery metrics.
- Participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, attend workshops, and lead CI actions by area.
- Provide support and direction to production technicians, facilitating change with Process Engineering involvement and proposing process improvement suggestions.
- Technical degree preferred.
- At least two years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Capacity management.
- Manufacturing experience in a low volume, high mix environment.
- Production Planning experience desirable.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred, especially JD Edwards.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and managing relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and driven to excellence.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Strong computer skills.
Compensation range: $69,200.00 – $, depending on experience. Eligible for performance‑based bonus plan.
