Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to support the assembly and testing of precision electro-mechanical products. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, soldering experience, and attention to detail to ensure products are built to quality and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to documented procedures and Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements.
- Perform functional testing based on customer specifications and engineering standards.
- Utilize hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment to complete high-accuracy builds.
- Perform soldering of components and wiring as required.
- Inspect parts and finished assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of assembly, manufacturing, or related experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in soldering and small-parts assembly.
- Proficiency using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively contribute within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ownership mindset with a commitment to quality and productivity.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work with small components requiring fine motor skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, work orders, and engineering documentation.
- Experience performing product inspections and functional testing.
