Plant Maint Mechanic II

Heidelberg Materials, a prominent leader in the building materials industry, is looking to expand our engineering and maintenance team by adding an experienced Plant Maint Mechanic II. This role is crucial for maintaining our operational excellence in North America and ensuring the optimal functionality of our production machinery and mechanical equipment. You will work closely with a dedicated team to troubleshoot, repair, and sustain various types of mechanical systems and equipment used in our ready-mixed concrete and aggregate production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime.
• Execute repairs and major overhauls to pumps, conveyors, crushing equipment, and other industry-specific machinery.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and machinery performance.
• Follow safety protocols and help maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
