Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Assemble modules, circuit boards, panels, frames, cables, and other components.
• Follow diagrams, engineering drawings, and work instructions to complete assemblies.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble products to specifications.
• Perform continuity checks and basic testing on completed work.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or experimental assemblies as needed.
• Support production goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Essential Skills

• 1-2+ years of experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing.
• Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes.
• Fine-pitch soldering experience.
• Experience applying conformal coating or similar coating applications.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Environment

Located in Owego, NY, the position operates on a second shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the use of hand and power tools, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
