** Job Responsibilities*
* As an Associate Technician, you will be responsible for various stages of the lens surfacing and finishing process, including:

** Lens Preparation*
* + Prepare lenses for the surfacing process by:

+ Removing products from packaging

+ Applying protective tape to exposed lenses

+ Organizing lenses into trays for production

** Machine Operation*
* Operate and monitor production equipment including:

+  
** Taping Equipment*
* + Apply protective tape to lens surfaces

+  
** Surfacing Blocker*
* + Secure blocks to lenses prior to surfacing

+  
** Generator Machine*
* + Cut lenses according to prescription specifications

+  
** Surface Finer/Polisher*
* + Fine and polish lenses to quality standards

+  
** Spin Coat Machine*
* + Apply lens coatings

+ Perform cosmetic inspections for quality assurance

** Lens Washing & Finishing*
* + Hand wash and dry lenses

+ Conduct visual inspections for defects

+ Remove blocks and protective tape from finished lenses

+ Handle lenses carefully throughout the production process

** Qualifications*
* ** Required Qualifications*
* + Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

+ Strong teamwork and communication skills

+ Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English

+ Basic math skills, including working with numbers, decimals, and sequences

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Ability to distinguish colors and maintain visual focus during detailed tasks

+ Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills

+ Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and exercise sound judgment

+ Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per day)

+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks and motions throughout the shift

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related experience

** Pay Details:**  $17.00 per hour
