Location: New York
- Assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, including electrical panels, switch kits, motors, or hydraulic cylinders
- Test equipment such as telemetering systems, electric motors, and center drives
- Perform electrical assembly work
- Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers
- Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints
- Must have knowledge of caliper gauges and computers
- Must be familiar with hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc.
- Previous wiring experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required to meet customer needs
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals
- Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Organized or able to follow a systematic method of performing a task
- Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
- Ability to explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Demonstrates expertise in electrical assembly and modification of equipment, including the ability to read blueprints and utilize hand tools effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate assembly techniques clearly to others are essential.
