Manufacturing Engineer, Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma, Process Engineer, Quality Engineering
Taconic, a global leader in the manufacture of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production performance, implement new manufacturing technologies, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Responsibilities:
As Manufacturing Engineer, you will;
Lead capital equipment projects, optimize manufacturing processes, and partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, and sales to support new product development and production efficiency.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline with 2-5 years in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (M2M or similar), CAD software, MS Excel and MS Word. Lean / Six Sigma training or certification preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills with experience in capital equipment sourcing and implementation.
- Ability to manage technical projects from concept through implementation.
- Experience with performing time studies and production flow analysis, with the ability to work well with others, and prioritize based on changing work conditions.
