Creative Home Ideas is a New York-based home textiles company designing, developing and selling products across major retailers and e-commerce marketplaces. Our categories include bedding, bath, rugs, window, throws and other home products across owned and licensed brands.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to support our growing e-commerce business. This role is responsible for keeping products, factories and internal teams on schedule from purchase order through shipment.
You will work directly with overseas factories and our merchandising, product development and e-commerce teams to ensure POs, samples, packaging, approvals and production deadlines stay on track.
Responsibilities- Create and issue purchase orders using Excel and ensure accurate entry into our ERP system
- Maintain production schedules and track key milestones through shipment
- Communicate directly with overseas factories and follow up on outstanding requirements
- Coordinate packaging requests, artwork, carton labels and packaging approvals
- Track color swatches, PP samples and other pre-production approvals
- Follow up with internal teams to obtain information and approvals required by factories
- Identify delays early, elevate issues and protect required ship dates
- Maintain accurate production records across multiple SKUs and programs
- 3+ years of production coordination or related experience
- Home textiles experience strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with overseas factories
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience issuing and managing purchase orders
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Knowledge of samples, packaging and production approvals
- Strong organization, follow-up and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and keep factories and internal teams accountable
