The purpose of this position is to facilitate the smooth movement of work orders throughout the organization. This position will work closely with the Planner, Supervisor, and Production Associates to ensure customer request dates are met.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAlong with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
- Transacting work orders through our ERP (Oracle) software.
- Creating, tracking, and updating production run charts to ensure run rates are being met.
- Take direction from the Planners, Supervisors, and Management
- Work across department, Quality, Engineering, etc, to eliminate roadblocks.
- Support line Associate, allowing them to focus on building parts.
- Identify opportunities to improve MFG/ERP system with changes related to BOM, Router, Process Steps.
- Lead lean activities to drive improvements in our core KPI’s.
- Clerical work: filing, record keeping, organizing.
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong analytic skills, a high degree of Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.
- Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Kanban experience, Oracle software is preferred.
- Understanding of concepts in a Lean Manufacturing Environment and Kanban Supply Chains.
