Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

As a Bartacker
- Automated Sewing Machine Operator, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality products by operating automated sewing equipment with precision and consistency. Your work will directly contribute to production performance, product quality, and the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain automated sewing machines to meet production goals
• Ensure finished products meet required specifications and quality standards
• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and sewing requirements accurately
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and recognize when additional assistance is needed
• Inspect finished products and complete adjustments or repairs when necessary
• Perform production preparation tasks, including trimming thread, handling materials, and marking fabric
• Support quality-control processes and continuous-improvement efforts
• Maintain accurate production records using company system tools
• Follow all workplace safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with team members and assist with training new operators as skills develop

Placement within the hourly pay range is based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and the ability to perform the position. This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.

Preferred or Transferable

Skills:

• Previous experience operating sewing machines or manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with quality-control or product-inspection processes
• Experience working with production standards, goals, or quotas
• Basic computer and system-navigation skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand motions, including handling fabric and threading machines
• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity necessary to inspect detailed work and identify quality concerns

Work Environment:
• Manufacturing and production-floor environment
• Regular exposure to machinery, noise, and production materials
