Reem Acra is a legendary luxury Bridal and RTW designer celebrated for her regal designs, which have been worn by royals and celebrities for more than 25 years. The collections are sold at luxury retailers around the world and are known for their craftsmanship, intricate details, and high level of quality.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a driven Atelier Coordinator to oversee the atelier team, in-house development, and local production. This position will report directly to the Product Development and Production Manager and will oversee the daily workload of the in-house atelier, balancing collection development samples, private client orders, couture client orders, and local bulk production. This role will also assist the Creative Director during collection fittings by dressing models, taking fitting notes, and helping pin fit adjustments.

The Atelier Coordinator will make sure fitting notes are clearly communicated to the atelier team and that all adjustments are completed according to the fitting instructions. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of high-end garment construction and sewing techniques. This person should be comfortable managing multiple collections and orders at the same time, communicating directly with the atelier team, and making sure work is completed correctly and on schedule.

This is a hands‑on position that requires someone who takes initiative, follows through, and can keep the atelier and production organized when priorities change.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Product Development & Production
  • Support the Creative Director and Product Development Manager with developing the newest collection for both RTW and Bridal seasons.
  • Coordinate the daily workload of the atelier team across collection development samples, private client orders, and couture client orders according to priorities and due dates.
  • Make sure all atelier team members have work lined up and clearly understand their next priority.
  • Assist during collection fittings by dressing the model, taking fitting notes, and helping pin fit adjustments.
  • Organize all fitting notes following each fitting and clearly communicate the adjustments to the atelier team checking that they are completed correctly.
  • Oversee the quality of work in the atelier to ensure it meets Reem Acra standards and take initiative to address any flaws or issues.
  • Assist with managing local bulk production by providing samples, raw materials, and patterns.
  • Quality control and review notes for all bulk and custom orders for accuracy and quality standards.
  • Assist with resolving production issues and communicate delays, quality concerns, or material shortages to the Product Development and Production Manager.
  • Assist with private client and couture appointments and alterations.
  • Assist with organization and preparation before collection presentations, fittings, and events.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory spreadsheets for samples, patterns, fabrics, embroideries, trims, and other materials.
  • Keep track of all samples, including style, status, and location.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of development patterns and track where patterns are located and which styles they belong to.
  • Track fabric and embroidery inventory from receipt through development and production.
  • Record material usage and maintain accurate stock counts.
  • Regularly compare physical inventory against spreadsheets and correct discrepancies.
