Job Overview

We are searching for creative and talented jewelers proficient at performing jewelry repair, cleaning, solder, and sizing in our manufacturing facility located in New York City. The role requires a high level of craftsmanship and quality orientation to produce the finest custom jewelry for our customers.

• Jewelry Cleaning – Work on raw casted metal, prepare for polishing, and achieve smooth, consistent surfaces.
• Sizing – Accurately size gold or platinum rings to the desired size and thickness without leaving a seam.
• Repair – Identify areas that need repair, including pin holes, porosity, and cracks, and mend them properly while preserving the integrity of the jewelry.
• Soldering and Laser Work – Solder gold and platinum heads to rings, ensuring diamonds remain undamaged, and use laser techniques as needed.
• Assembly – Assemble heads, shanks, and set round, marquise, or princess cut stones in solitaire mounting; handle half and full shanks, retip prongs, and simple fabrication tasks.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in metal or jewelry programs preferred.
• Demonstrated jewelry repair experience.
• Ability to complete a bench test for assessment purposes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is an essential function of this job.

Base pay $20.00 - $22.00 hourly. Final pay rate shall be determined based on experience and qualifications.
