We are seeking a reliable and skilled Waterjet Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC waterjet machines and working in a fabrication environment. This role involves reading blueprints, cutting various materials to specification, and contributing to general fabrication tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain CNC waterjet cutting machine
Set up machine parameters, load materials, and ensure accurate cutting
Handle, move, and position raw materials and finished parts safely & efficiently
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Perform fabrication tasks such as grinding, drilling, welding (if applicable), and finishing
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in fabrication or waterjet operation (preferred)
Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools
Familiarity with various materials including metals, plastics, and composites
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Flow, OMAX, or similar waterjet systems
Welding or metal fabrication experience a plus
