Bread Alone is seeking an experienced Director of Production & Head Baker to lead production at our artisan bakery in Boiceville, NY. This senior leadership role oversees the entire production operation while directly leading our Bread Department, ensuring exceptional product quality, food safety, operational excellence, financial performance, and team development. The ideal candidate is an accomplished production leader with extensive artisan bread experience who is equally comfortable developing people, improving systems, and driving business results.

This role partners with the VP of Retail & Bakery Operations to develop production strategies, improve operational efficiency, support future growth, and maintain Bread Alone's commitment to artisan craftsmanship. Responsibilities include leading production managers, overseeing labor and financial performance, ensuring products are accurately prepared for distribution, partnering with Facilities to maintain equipment reliability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
