Entry Level Machine Operator

Location: Albion

As an Entry Level Machine Operator- you will receive hands-on training to learn how to safely operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, complete production documentation, and support daily production goals. You will work alongside experienced team members who will help you develop your technical skills and operational knowledge.

** Primary Responsibilities*
* + Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.

+ Learn basic machine operation and production processes.

+ Complete production paperwork and documentation.

+ Perform startup and shutdown checks.

+ Monitor product quality and report defects.

+ Learn product specifications and workmanship standards.

+ Assist with roll handling and material movement.

+ Maintain housekeeping standards.

+ Support production goals and team objectives.

** Skills*
* + Demonstrates safe work practices and adherence to department safety requirements.

- + Consistently operates assigned equipment safely and effectively in accordance with training, established procedures, and safety requirements.

- + Performs basic math and measurement calculations accurately.

- + Applies knowledge of production processes and quality requirements.

- + Follows SOPs, quality standards, safety policies, work instructions, and production documentation.

- + Attention to detail and accuracy in quality inspections, measurements, and documentation.

+ Ability to follow established work processes and instructions.

- ** Requirements*
* + High school diploma or GED required.

+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job duties.

+ Demonstrates the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while consistently following company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

+ Ability to successfully complete onboarding, safety, and job-specific training requirements.

+ Ability to read and accurately use a measuring tape and other basic measuring devices.

+ Ability to maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records.

+ Willingness to learn machine operation, quality standards, and production processes.

Flexibility to work different shifts on a rotating basis is required.
