Oversees the creation of children's clothing from concept to final delivery. They manage timelines, negotiate costs, and oversee approval process. This role blends Production and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities- Product Lifecycle Management: Guide designs from proto-samples to bulk delivery, ensuring garments are cost-effective.
- Vendor & Factory Relations: Negotiate pricing and production capacities with domestic and overseas manufacturers.
- Timeline Tracking: Build and execute seasonal Time & Action (T&A) calendars to meet strict shipping deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Review pre-production and top-of-production samples to maintain brand standards.
- Experience: 3-5+ years in apparel manufacturing or product development, preferably specializing in children's wear.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (e.g., A2000 or RLM). - Communication: Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams like design, sales, and logistics, as well as overseas factory partners.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing bottlenecks and adjust workloads.
