Color & Print Assistant, Woman's Wholesale Apparel

We are currently seeking an entry-level Print & Color Assistant to support the Print and Color teams for The Kasper Group. This role will assist with the day-to-day coordination, organization and tracking of print and color development across multiple brands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organize and maintain print artwork, color standards and seasonal libraries
• Enter and maintain print and color information in PLM/Centric
• Track print and color development against the Time & Action calendar
• Communicate with overseas factories and mills regarding artwork, color standards, lab dips and strike-offs
• Send artwork and development information to factories and follow up on outstanding approvals
• Maintain and organize lab dips, strike-offs, color standards and seasonal approval records
• Assist with print range numbers and related tracking
• Partner with the CAD team to prepare artwork and production packages
• Support Colorists and Print/CAD teams with daily development needs
• Track color and print approvals and communicate status to Product Development, Textiles and other cross-functional partners
• Assist in identifying color/shade inconsistencies and ensuring submissions align with approved standards
• Maintain accurate files, records and seasonal development documentation
• Support multiple brands and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles, Textile Design or related field preferred
• Entry-level candidates with relevant internship or related experience encouraged to apply
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Basic understanding of color theory, prints and textile development
• Familiarity with lab dips, strike-offs and color terminology preferred
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge a plus
• PLM/Centric experience a plus
• Detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Salary Range: $55K - $60K
* Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
