The Cabinet Finisher role is a full-time, on-site position located in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for preparing, finishing, and refinishing cabinets and furniture, including sanding, staining, painting, and applying protective coatings to achieve specified colors and finishes. Day-to-day tasks include mixing and applying stains and other finishes, inspecting pieces for quality, and performing touch‑ups or repairs as needed.

Work hours are 45-55 hours per week with 1.5X pay over 40 hours per week, benefits. With Over time one can expect to make $ 95,000.00 - $ 110,000 per year.

• Experience working with furniture and cabinetry, including preparation, finishing, and refinishing.
• Knowledge of paint, stains, and coatings, and practical experience with painting and finishing processes.
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools commonly used in finishing.
• Ability to train and share best practices with colleagues on finishing methods, safety, and equipment use.
• Strong attention to detail, color matching ability, and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Understanding of shop safety procedures and ability to follow instructions and technical specifications.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and handle materials throughout the workday.
• 5-10 years Prior experience in cabinet finishing, furniture making, or related woodworking fields.
