Our client, a leading apparel company, is seeking a Production Assistant to support production across multiple retail and private-label accounts. This role will work closely with Production, Design, Product Development, and Sales teams to manage orders, timelines, samples, and vendor communication from purchase order placement through final shipment.

Up to $25/hr

The Production Assistant will support all aspects of apparel production across multiple accounts, styles, and SKUs. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple production timelines in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor production for open orders to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.
• Track orders from purchase order placement through final shipment and shipping documentation.
• Support production needs across multiple retail and private-label accounts.
• Communicate with overseas factories, agents, and vendors regarding production orders, samples, timelines, packaging, costing, and shipment status.
• Work closely with Design, Product Development, Sales, and Production teams to confirm product specifications and requirements.
• Assist with sample approvals and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders as needed.
• Maintain detailed WIP reports and track multiple styles and SKUs.
• Monitor production deadlines and proactively communicate potential delays or issues.
• Ensure packaging, labeling, ticketing, and customer-specific requirements are followed.
• Organize and archive production samples.
• Assist with additional production projects and day-to-day responsibilities as needed.

• 1 - 3 years of apparel production experience.
• Knowledge of the garment/apparel industry and production process.
• Experience communicating with overseas factories, vendors, or agents.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, styles, SKUs, and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working with major retail or private-label accounts.
• Experience with production WIP tracking and purchase orders.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with sample approvals, packaging, labeling, and ticketing requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Apparel, Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.

• 3-month temporary opportunity.
