Head of Production

A privately held children’s-apparel business is creating a senior production leadership role with broad cross-functional influence. The position is designed for an experienced operator ready to take ownership beyond a traditional production remit. You will serve as the central point between commercial and execution teams, keeping orders, factories, priorities and timelines moving. The role offers the opportunity to shape how production is managed across the organization.

• You have 10+ years of production or product-development experience
• You understand factory communication, sourcing and apparel production workflows
• You have coordinated complex work across commercial and execution teams
• You can manage priorities, teams, orders and delivery activity
• You are a hands-on, highly organized operator
• You communicate clearly and remain closely involved in execution

• Serve as the central liaison between sales, sourcing, production and product development
• Coordinate order status, factory activity, priorities and delivery timelines
• Lead regular team touchpoints and resolve execution issues
• Organize and filter commercial requests before routing them to execution teams
• Maintain visibility across multiple orders and interconnected workflows
• Partner closely with senior creative leadership

• Teams have one clear source for order status and production priorities
• Sales receives timely information without overwhelming execution teams
• Production, sourcing and product development operate with stronger coordination
• Factory activity, orders and delivery needs remain visible and organized
• Cross-functional issues are identified and resolved quickly

$200,000 - $ base + 15-25% bonus (annually based on experience)
