Job Summary The Director of Wafer Fab Operations is responsible for the overall performance of the Furnace, Thin Films, Epi, CMP, and Implant modules within the wafer fabrication facility. This role provides end-to-end ownership and accountability for safety, quality, output, yield, cycle time, equipment performance, workforce capability, and cost across these manufacturing areas. The Director is responsible for achieving business objectives through strong operational leadership, disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role partners closely with stakeholders across the site to ensure stable operations, successful technology transfers, organizational capability development, and long-term business success.

   onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $164,800-$296,600 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Deliver results across safety, quality, output, yield, cycle time, equipment performance, workforce capability, and cost.

Establish priorities, remove barriers, and align resources to meet factory and business objectives.

Drive accountability and execution through disciplined daily management, operating reviews, and action-oriented problem solving.

Lead rapid recovery efforts for operational disruptions, quality excursions, equipment issues, staffing challenges, and delivery risks.

Develop and execute plans to improve output, reduce cycle time, increase equipment performance, improve yield, and lower manufacturing costs.

Ensure the organization remains focused on achieving customer commitments while continuously improving operational performance.
