Your Role

In this pivotal role on our Manufacturing team, you will work collaboratively with Supervisors and Materials Planning to determine staff requirements, prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully implemented! As a motivated and upbeat leader, you have proven leadership abilities and hands‑on capability! As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators as well as coordinate and prioritize work schedules and assign tasks.

You will be the first level of escalation to resolve production issues and ensure tasks are met.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead, coach, and develop kitting team members by providing direction, performance feedback, training, and ongoing support to drive operational excellence, accountability, and a collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate assembly of medical device kits and components, ensuring compliance with production schedules, specifications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance by conducting inspections, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and partnering with Quality teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring component availability, conducting inventory audits, and coordinating material replenishment to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Complete and maintain accurate operational records, quality documentation, and performance reports in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations, to resolve issues, communicate priorities, and support business objectives.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying operational efficiencies, supporting Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and implementing best practices that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated leadership experience motivating and developing high‑performing teams in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related business software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in kitting, assembly, manufacturing, or related operations, preferably within a regulated medical device or healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating production or assembly activities.
