Location: New York

GO PR is seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Account Executive for its GO team! This position requires at least three to four years’ experience, a passion for hospitality, experience leading initiatives forward to fruition and success as well as a rolodex of media contacts.

An ideal candidate will have extensive travel and lifestyle experience to comfortably lead daily client relations, execute day to day projects and support and lead teams to execute strategy. They will be a creative, out of the box thinker who has a strong work ethic and is a self-starter. They must possess stellar oral and written communication skills. GO PR Senior Account Executives are an integral part in supporting the development and implementation of communications strategies across a portfolio of high-profile clients.

A fun, fast paced environment, GO PR works on a hybrid model with two [2] days in office in Flatiron. Current clients include everything from hotels [Freehand Hotels, Walker Hotels, Marram Montauk, Dawn Ranch], to destinations [Visit Faroe Islands and Tourisme Montréal] and luxury expeditions [EYOS] to luxury members club concepts ,
highly anticipated restaurant openings and the truly dog-first airline and hospitality brand redefining pet travel [BARK Air].

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
  • Facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day function of the account team, providing support as requested
  • Maintenance of regular day-to- day contact and close relations with media and clients
  • Participate in brainstorms for creative ideas and strategies to enhance PR campaigns
  • Participate in client plans and new business proposals
  • Draft excellent communication documents including plans, press releases, fact sheets, talking points
  • Help to broker partnerships with like-minded brands
  • Assist in preparation and on-site events, media interviews and TV/photo shoots
  • Manage internal client teams and mentor junior staff
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of media relations experience
  • Experience in media relations for clients in travel and lifestyle
  • Outstanding project management skills including stellar organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, handle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
  • Excellent writing ability
  • Experience supporting and maintaining client accounts
  • Strong understanding of social media and influencers
  • Self-motivated, positive and proactive team player
  • Experience with Cision, Excel, Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint, Adobe
  • Desire to grow within the company
