Marketing and Communications Coordinator

C&G Partners is a multi-specialty creative studio dedicated to design for culture, working primarily with cultural, nonprofit, and public-sector clients. Our work spans exhibitions, signage and way finding, digital experiences, and visual identity systems.

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support the studio’s marketing, communications, and outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and eager to grow—particularly in a communications-focused capacity—while contributing to the day-to-day execution of marketing work. We value curiosity, collaboration, and shared learning across the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and help produce marketing content, including website posts, social media posts, newsletters, awards submissions, and conference proposals.
  • Support proposal and pitch preparation, research, and selected studio initiatives.
  • Support project promotion and documentation, including coordinating photography, organizing assets, and preparing content for publication.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and publish approved content across platforms (website, social media, email).
  • Track and support awards, conferences, and public-facing opportunities.
  • Assist with contact list maintenance, newsletters, and basic CRM maintenance.
  • Organize and support occasional public or internal events and studio initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with good judgment and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
  • Interest in design, culture, and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Linked In and Instagram).
  • Familiarity with Word Press and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Nice to have: previous marketing or communications work, including experience with CRM systems.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. We are a hybrid studio; ideally candidates are based in or near NYC and able to come into the office periodically.

Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 commensurate with experience.
