Marketing and Communications Coordinator / NYC

Spacesmith is seeking a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our New York City team. This role is responsible for developing and coordinating a range of marketing initiatives, including proposals, qualifications, written and graphic marketing assets, award submissions, and social media content.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will collaborate closely with firm leadership to produce brochures, presentations, and responses to external requests for information. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.

This position requires the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work both independently and collaboratively, and effectively prioritize tasks to meet concurrent deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the firm’s proposal assets, including project sheets, resumes, references, and project/client database.
  • Manage the proposal production process from RFQ/RFP analysis to final submission, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Ensure consistency in company branding, messaging, and marketing materials across all platforms.
  • Support the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, pre-qualifications, award submissions, and presentations.
  • Assist in maintaining digital presence and outreach efforts, including social media, newsletters, and external websites.
  • Provide coordination for photo shoots and oversee Lightroom database.
Skills/Knowledge
  • Experience in preparing and submitting proposals.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with databases such as Salesforce and Lightroom.
  • Strong graphic design and layout skills.
  • Advanced writing and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience.

Salary range: $70K – 80K
