Branding Specialist / Ambassador
A new and exciting role within Moet Hennessy USA, the Minuty Business Developer and Ambassador will help developing the footprint of the brand in selected On/Off Trade customers, as well as activating with consumers and building long term advocacy amongst the Trade community.
This role will be based in New York with frequent travel mostly on the East side of the US (NY, MA, CT, RI, DC, IL, FL, GA, …).
This individual will have a strong sales knowledge, eager to visit customers daily and support Moet Hennessy and the distributors’ teams.
A dynamic public speaker capable of engaging their audience through captivating brand storytelling and technical wine knowledge. Able to adapt their style to a variety of audiences ensuring that key messages are landing.
She/he will be feet on the street constantly looking for commercial opportunities for Château Minuty in terms of distribution, by the glass listings, and visibility.
The successful candidate will report to the Château Minuty Brand Director, yet in a very entrepreneurial start-up spirit.
Job responsabilities- Work hand in hand with the Moët Sales team and local distributors to win new listings:
- Use your knowledge of the industry and network to define a target list
- Extend distribution of Château Minuty and visibility in On-Premise and Retail
- Drive By the glass listings of Château Minuty
- Attend customer meetings when necessary
- Suggest and find efficient activation opportunities
- Be the face of the brand
- Educate and inspire Internal and external staff to become advocates
- Infiltrate communities, grow relationships and drive brand reputation with Trade influencers and KOL
- Events (Trade, Consumer, PR), Trade shows, bar takeovers and masterclasses
- Be active on Social media
- Brand Marketing
- Drive and implement Global programs in your market
- Support new product and innovation projects
- Develop Brand training tool kits as well as POSM materials
- Manage logistic for events (stock, POSM, …)
- Work closely with Brand Director on Social Media and Influencers strategies
- Update monthly with a qualitative and quantitative report (results, trends, …)
Experience
- Passion and experience in the Wine and Spirits industry
- 2 years minimum of Sales or Brand Ambassador experience (Local or Global)
- Proven track record of business development
- Experience of delivering category / brand training programs
- Experience working for a brand building company (desirable)
Skills
- Excellent Public Speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to network and build strong relationships
- Awareness of local and global market and consumer trends
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social media execution
- Entrepreneurial behaviour: initiative, problem solver, flexibility, high personal drive and motivation
- Project management and time management
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Qualification
- Degree level education or equivalent
- WSET L2 Award in Wine (desirable)
- Driving licence mandatory
- Languages:
English mandatory, Spanish is a plus
