Description

Join our rapidly growing agency at the forefront of life science communications. You’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful impact by telling stories that shine a spotlight on patient communities that want to spread awareness of their cause.

Our mission is to support our clients’ corporate objectives through communications programs that foster impactful engagement with diverse audiences - including investors, venture capitalists, strategic partners, physicians, scientists, patients, and caregivers. We pride ourselves on being sophisticated storytellers with deep expertise across corporate, medical, scientific, and product communications, as well as strategic advisory.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of PhDs and communication strategists within Life Sci Communications, while also working alongside specialist teams in finance, consulting, recruiting, and more as part of the broader Life Sci Partners organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic lead across client programs, with a focus on product-driven communications for clinical and commercial-stage clients, including disease education, patient engagement, HCP engagement and advocacy relations

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear counsel on product positioning, data interpretation, competitive context, and evolving communications needs
  • Guide account teams in translating complex clinical and scientific information into clear, compelling, and compliant communications, including press materials, messaging platforms, investor and corporate content, website copy, and campaign narratives
  • Oversee execution of client programs to ensure quality, accuracy, timelines, and budget adherence, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities to elevate impact
  • Lead development of product communications strategies around key milestones such as data readouts, regulatory events, scientific congresses, and commercial launches
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare and biopharma media landscape, competitive environments, and emerging platforms to inform proactive planning and counsel
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to support proposals and SOW development, while managing and growing client relationships through scope expansion and strategic evolution
  • Coach, mentor, and formally supervise team members, supporting growth in strategic thinking, writing quality, client leadership, and professional development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of experience in communications within the biopharma and life sciences industry. Experience in a similar role is a requirement to be considered for this opening.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting key regulatory and clinical milestones and integrating into broader corporate narrative.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environment (U.S. required, E.U. preferred), with experience navigating the medical legal and regulatory review process, as well as advocacy engagement strategies.
  • Experience serving as a client contact for communications programs with biopharmaceutical companies.
  • Experience supporting corporate milestones, data readouts and executive thought leadership initiatives.
