Responsibilities
  • Support the development of an internal communications strategy for Kate Spade, serving as the main contact to design a comprehensive communication approach that aligns stakeholders with the brand strategy.
  • Develop content and messages for the Kate Spade CEO & Brand President, including speech writing, presentations, videos, blog posts, and emails.
  • Develop and execute employee communication strategies that engage employees in the company/brand vision and business strategies, with a focus on creative communications that bring the brand to life.
  • Lead content development for a variety of live events including leadership meetings, town halls, investor presentations, social impact work, and global store leader conferences.
  • Lead social media content and strategy for Kate Spade Linked In and develop communications that position the brand as an employer employees love to work for.
  • Partner with the external communications team to implement media relations initiatives that strengthen Kate Spade’s brand and corporate reputation.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to ensure consistent and relevant communications.
  • Leverage data and insights to measure communications impact and adjust strategy.
Qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing effective communication plans and strategies with senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering multi‑channel communications.
  • Strong executive presence, with experience working with all levels of employees from stores to C‑suite.
  • Thrives in a changing global environment; curious learner and problem solver who collaborates across teams.
  • Attention to detail and quality; confident work in high‑stakes settings.
  • Passion for communications, creative storytelling, and the brand.
  • Talent for building networks and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Understanding of current news landscape; tech and social media savvy across mediums.
  • Curiosity and desire to create and collaborate with AI tools.
  • Basic finance knowledge and analytical skills to present data to stakeholders.
  • Basic graphic design knowledge to create engaging communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
    Master’s degree a plus (equivalent experience considered).
  • 4+ years’ experience in a public company preferred – responsible for internal and/or external communications.
Base Pay Range

$90,000.00 – $ Annually.
