MSL is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive for our Consumer Brands practice in our New York office. As an integral member of the team, this Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the development and execution of PR plans and leading day-to-day account activities for iconic P&G brands we bet you have at home.

You should have a passion for all things influence inclusive of both traditional media, social and be able to work in an integrated model with our agency partners. Details are important, and you should be able to develop and oversee program budgets and have on point project management skills.
You’ll be comfortable delegating direction to junior team members, working with your senior leaders to drive work forward and presenting to clients.

Responsibilities- Support the team in executing influencer, social and PR plans and day-to-day client activities for well-known CPG brands
- Support influencer strategy and manage execution of influencer, celebrity and talent programs from end-to-end, including the creation of plans, talent identification, development of briefs, content review, and creative direction to drive innovative, scroll-stopping content; paid media experience a plus
- Support negotiations and contracts for influencers; manage talent with oversight from AS/SAS
- Stay on top of what is happening in culture and on social and contribute to creative ideation and program development
- Develop in person and virtual event execution logistics, including vendor coordination, run of show document creation, real-time results management, and budget management
- Write strong media and consumer materials including persuasive pitches, press releases, fact sheets, spokesperson bios, etc. and have a general understanding of the media landscape and pitching process
- Support account management, including leading client calls, developing call recaps, and managing project timelines
- Develop program recap reports including performance metrics and key learnings to effectively communicate program impact
- Support financial process for client programs including managing budget trackers, billing and invoicing/vendor payments for programs
- Conduct research for plan creation, including independent desktop research as well as collaboration with in-house research/culture team on larger research initiatives
- Provide oversight, guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Oversee media monitoring and provide proactive updates, opportunities, and thoughtful perspective for clients
- BA/BS Degree in a related field
- 3-4+ years of experience in influencer, PR and/or social media; agency experience in CPG products, multicultural programming a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism
- Excellent writing skills are essential to this position, as well as great attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and proactivity
