CLIENT: Pediatric Associates
JOB TITLE: Vice President, Marketing
LOCATION: US, Remote
CONTRACT: FTE
ABOUT THE ROLE: Our client is a well-established, clinician-led pediatric primary care organization with a national footprint. Founded over 65 years ago, they've built a reputation for evidence-based care and innovative medical home models. They're experiencing significant growth and seeking a strategic marketing leader to drive their next phase of expansion.
Role: The VP of Marketing will architect and execute marketing strategy across acquisition, digital presence, and operational excellence. This role manages a distributed team of Regional Marketing Managers and partners with senior leadership to build marketing as a scalable growth function. You'll own the full marketing tech stack, lead acquisition campaigns, and create measurable systems that drive new patient volume and market penetration.
Responsibilities- Growth & Acquisition
- Design and implement integrated new patient acquisition strategies with measurable ROI
- Build digital-first marketing infrastructure, including SEO/SEM, paid media, and GEO optimization
- Collaborate with market leaders to create localized growth plans aligned with clinic capacity
- Manage provider reputation, community partnerships, and sponsorship programs that generate qualified leads
- Team Leadership
- Lead Regional Marketing Managers who own acquisition and retention KPIs at the market level
- Empower team members with budget authority and accountability for growth metrics
- Develop scalable campaign frameworks for rapid deployment across markets
- Build executive-level capability within the team to independently manage stakeholder relationships
- Marketing Operations
- Oversee marketing technology platform, creative execution, and omni-channel campaign delivery (digital, email, SMS, direct mail, in-clinic)
- Partner cross-functionally on retention initiatives and patient engagement programs
- Implement attribution modeling and funnel analytics to optimize spend efficiency
- Ensure brand consistency while enabling regional customization
- Digital & Analytics
- Direct website strategy, digital ecosystem, and content marketing programs
- Build comprehensive performance dashboards tracking acquisition, campaign effectiveness, and channel ROI
- Lead martech selection and implementation to enable real-time performance monitoring
- Navigate brand consolidation as the organization integrates acquisitions
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (Master's preferred; equivalent experience considered)
- 7+ years progressive marketing experience with 5+ years leading teams
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling regional marketing operations with measurable growth outcomes
- Deep expertise in digital marketing: SEO/SEM, paid media, marketing automation, analytics platforms
- Healthcare marketing experience and HIPAA knowledge strongly preferred
- Executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and clinical leadership
- Proficiency with tools like Google Ads, Meta platforms, Google Analytics, Hub Spot, and SEMrush
- Experience with healthcare CRM/EHR systems is a plus
- Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Remote position with up to 30% travel. Occasional meetings outside standard hours to accommodate the national team across time zones.
