External Communications Associate

Overview

A top Quant Hedge Fund seeks a skilled communicator to join its External Communications team. Members of ExComms advance a range of strategic communications initiatives to support the firm’s commercial and talent goals, engage with stakeholders on storytelling efforts, and help shape the firm’s external voice.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners across Recruiting, ExComms, Internal Communications, and investing and technology functions to help create and execute high-impact communications.
• Develop strategy and messaging to support branding and marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to creative marketing projects and campaigns such as video scripts, social media posts, conference materials, recruiting communications, and other firmwide storytelling materials.
• Provide high-touch client service to business units across the firm with bespoke messaging projects.

• A bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement are required, with two to four years of marketing or communications experience at a technology or investment firm or agency.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with impressive writing and creative skills, ideally demonstrated in technical or investment-focused environments.
