As the Associate, Institutional Defined Contribution Marketing Strategy Lead, you will be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to understanding the evolving needs of institutional retirement clients and developing impactful, data‑driven marketing strategies. This role is at the forefront of marketing innovation, with a strong emphasis on leveraging generative AI and advanced technology to shape the future of institutional marketing.

As a Institutional Defined Contribution Marketing Strategy Associate in the marketing team, you will design and execute marketing initiatives tailored to the largest defined contribution plans and the specialized consulting firms that advise them.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for large defined contribution retirement plans and their consulting partners, closely aligning with sales and product teams.
  • Lead the integration of generative AI and advanced marketing technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and personalization in marketing campaigns.
  • Execute data‑driven marketing programs across digital, events, and content channels, focusing on measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of digital client journeys, ensuring a seamless and differentiated experience for institutional retirement audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact marketing initiatives, including thought leadership, events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, intellectual curiosity, and continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and approaches.
  • Build and manage data reporting frameworks to inform strategy and demonstrate marketing value.
  • Serve as an advocate for marketing innovation within the defined contribution and institutional consulting segment.
Required Qualifications , Capabilities, and Skills
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in asset management, retirement, or institutional client segments.
  • Experimental mindset with a willingness to test, learn, and scale new marketing approaches, especially applications of Generative AI.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and passion for leveraging technology to transform marketing.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications , Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience working with defined contribution retirement plans or institutional consulting firms.
  • Track record of driving marketing innovation and measurable business results.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills across sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization and collaborate across multiple locations.
