We’re looking for a New Business Specialist to support and help drive agency growth across both pitch development and broader visibility initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who has spent time inside a branding or advertising agency and understands that winning new work requires more than good slides—it requires clear thinking, strong positioning, and consistency across how an agency shows up in the world.
You will play a key role in leading and managing the creation of pitch decks and proposal materials, with a strong emphasis on understanding the agency’s specialties, strategic point of view, and differentiation. Beyond pitches, this role will also focus on building a larger, more intentional presence for the agency through owned and paid channels.
Key Responsibilities- New Business & Pitch Development
- Lead and manage the creation of pitch decks, RFP responses, and proposal materials
- Develop clear, compelling strategic narratives that reflect the agency’s specialties and approach
- Partner closely with leadership, strategy, creative, and account teams to translate thinking into effective new business materials
- Ensure pitch materials are well-structured, strategically sound, and tailored to each opportunity
- Maintain and evolve core agency pitch materials and case study content
- Support the development of strategies to increase the agency’s overall presence and discoverability
- Manage and optimize paid profiles and agency listings (e.g., industry platforms, directories)
- Collaborate on SEO, AEO/GEO, and LLM visibility initiatives to ensure the agency is positioned correctly across search and AI-driven discovery
- Curate, update, and manage onsite content related to capabilities, case studies, and thought leadership
- Track performance and identify opportunities to refine and improve how the agency shows up to prospective clients
- 2–3 years of experience at a branding or advertising agency
- Demonstrated experience leading or managing pitch deck development
- Strong understanding of agency services, specialties, and strategic positioning
- Clear strategic thinker who can translate ideas into persuasive narratives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple work streams
- Comfortable collaborating across strategy, creative, account, and leadership teams
- Based in New York City and able to work from the office three days per week
- Someone who understands that new business is both strategy and execution
- A strong storyteller who can connect dots across disciplines
- A proactive thinker who looks for ways to improve how the agency presents itself
- A self-starter who takes ownership and follows ideas through
